Here is another example of a collector being desperate in the dark times. Back in the late 80's and early 90's, Star Wars collecting was no where near as crazy as it is now. Go into toy stores and the shelves not have any Star Wars toys. I was like a junkie and I needed a fix. Well, I got a mailer advertising these plates and had to have them. I needed to collect something with Star Wars on it!!! I needed to!!! Also, the art is quite good. The artist did a faithful interpretation of the characters.
Also, the artist did a great job capturing thing themes from each movie.
I don't regret getting these plates, and I find great pleasure looking at these.
