POTF2 Jabba The Hutt and Han Solo

I got this from a friend who works at Out Of The Closet thrift store. Someone just donated this. While this isn't the best looking Jabba, the vintage Jabba looks better, I still wanted it based solely on nostalgia. Well, it is that terrible looking cg Jabba anyway.  I remember seeing this in stores back in the 90's, but never got it.
I haven't taken it out of the box because the figures alone do not have any display value, whereas the whole package does. I like how it looks all together.

Star Wars Mugs

These are the only Star Wars mugs I own mainly because they were given to me. Collecting mugs is not my thing. I keep them because, Star Wars.
This picture is from that really bad cg Jabba from the special edition of Star Wars. Maybe I should get rid of it because of that reason alone. Well, see. He he.

This Chewbacca looks a bit silly. I have seen better mugs. There is a possibility I may get rid of this one too, because I don't collect mugs. Well, see.

Vintage Sonic Controlled Land Speeder Vehicle

I did not know about The Sonic Land Speeder back in the 70's or 80's or 90's. I didn't even know about this in the 2000's. I learned about this in the mid 2010's. Crazy!!!!! I totally wanted it but the price was insane!!!  I managed to get this in January of 2018. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Sigh! I decided to take it apart and unfreeze the motor. That worked, but sadly a little cog was broken so that prevented the wheel in the front from spinning. Somehow, I will get a new cog at a reasonable price.

It's amusing that the instructions state to not drop the speeder. Honestly, most of these Star Wars toys should not be dropped since they could break. This toy just seems way to delicate for little kids to play with.

This note makes the Sonic Speeder a bit annoying to have. Once again, seems way too delicate for kids.

The Sonic Speeder looks pretty much the same as the other Land Speeder except this one has bulkier dimensions and battery compartments. Turn it on and it travels along by itself, until a click from the remote control clicker moves the speeder left, right, forward, or back. It can be controlled from up to 16 feet away!

I like the R2-D2 designed clicker. Very clever.

Kenner's Lost Package Line

This is a really cool "what might have been" set. I found these on Amazon and that is reason they are unpunched.  Not much to write about these since I don't have much of a history with these. I just got them because the design is awesome!!!

Vintage The Empire Strikes Back Rebel Transport Vehicle

The Rebel Transport came out in 1982. It holds up to 24 figures. It's basically a glorified carrying case.

Figures can be placed in the front to 'pilot' the transport.

A rotating laser cannon holds 1 figure and can be removed to be played with alone.

The tray can be removed for added game play.

It includes a 'secret' escape hatch. I suppose if the transport got boarded by the imperials then the escape hatch would be quite handy.
This thing even included backpacks and gas masks! So cool!! Interesting enough, these things were also available in a mail away offer.

Star Wars Micro Collection Hoth Turret Defense

I decided the post this separate from Hoth World since this set was not originally included.
The Hoth Turret Defense has two "exploding" gun turrets on a snow base. The turrets click when turned and have opening hatches for figures. Of course, this playset connects to other Hoth playsets.

The die cast figures that came with this set are Han standing and firing, Luke on Taun Taun, Rebel Commander with binoculars, Rebel Soldier lying down with gun above head, Rebel Soldier one knee on ground, and Rebel Soldier foot on small mound.
Oh no! The turrets have been destroyed! Does the Empire have the upper hand?

Star Wars Micro Collection Hoth World Playsets

Hoth World is a playset that combines the Wampa Cave, Ion Cannon, and Generator Attack. It does not include the Hoth Turret Defense as seen in the photo above.  There are a total of 19 figures and all in a huge box. For some reason I don't have the box. Total bummer! I don't remember what happened to it. This whole set was available in stores in 1982. If I remember correctly, I got this in Toys R Us at the end of the Micro Collection line and the price was so low that there was no way of passing it up.  While, the set looks great as a diorama, it doesn't lend itself to play value since the figure don't really do much and have only one pose. Since it is something that looks great on display, it was not something I had to have in my collection. I only got it cause it was cheap!!!
The Hoth Ion Cannon is operated by lever and clicks to simulate firing. Other features include an observation tower which holds a figure and operate blast doors, a command post with two computer terminals and a "battle damage" feature activated by button.

The Ion cannon figures include, Rebel Commander standing and firing, Rebel Soldier lying down firing sideways, Rebel Soldier standing and firing (2), Rebel Soldier foot on large mound, Han Solo on Taun-Taun, Leia, and Luke.

 The blast doors!

The Generator Attack playset comes with an "exploding" generator and a Scout Walker that stands unassisted and also "blows apart" by remote button when positioned on the snow base.

The base includes a Stormtrooper firing from hip, Stormtrooper falling backward, Stormtrooper lying down firing diagonally, Stormtrooper firing from shoulder, Stormtrooper kneeling and shooting, and Darth Vader walking.

Oh, no! The generator has been destroyed! What will happen to the Rebels???
The Wampa playset recreates Luke's capture by the Wampa, plus Han and Chewbacca destorying the Probot. It has an "action launcher" to "launch" Probot. Of course the playset can connect to other Hoth PLaysets.

The Wampa set includes, Wampa, Han, Luke, Chewbacca, and Probe Droid.
Will Luke be dinner for the Wampa????
Get that Probot, Han!!! Yeah!!!!

POTF2 Gunner Station Millennium Falcon with Luke Skywalker

This toy was in stores in 1998. I got it in July of 2018 at Book Off. I must be getting very sentimental because now when I see the POTF2 line I want to get them. It's crazy, because when this Gunner Station came out I didn't want it, but now I have it. I want to open it because the cardback is just okay, nothing artistic about it. The only problem is finding a place to display it out of the card. Space is very limited. This toy includes a rapid-fire quad laser cannon with four missiles.

The base connects to the base of Han Solo's Gunner Station.
