The Skywalker Saga Commemorative Edition Set 7,8, and 9

I love this set! Unfortunately it markes the end of the 3 and 3/4, 5 poa movie dedicated line of action figures. Sadness!!!!!!!!! What really great is the picture on the back that when connected shows a continuum from episode 1 to episode 9. Love it!

Star Wars Collection: The Empire Strikes Back R-3PO Figure

 I've been doing a lot of catching up lately since I missed many figures back in the 2000's. For some reason I stopped collecting as much even though this was the time when Hasbro was releasing figures of characters that we barely see. Case in point: R-3PO!

R-3PO is not seen much in ESB but here is the figure, and it looks great! I love the droids! They are so cool looking. The only thing is, the figure's head is not as round as the picture depicts. Oh well. I added this figure to my Hoth diorama. I also, love that is comes with a stand. Hasbro was doing a lot of cool stuff back in the day. What happened?? 

The Power Of The Force 2 Hoth Rebel Soldier Figure

 The Power of the Force 2 figures!! The 90's!! So extreme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the green line that came out after the red line. Unfortunately, the figures still have a bit of buffness to them.

 It's a fine figure with the removable backpack accessory. The weapon is large and appropriate.

 The detail on the figure is good with different paint applications.

 It's a dude with facial hair so that's a plus!!!

Power of the Jedi: BoShek Figure

 Time to release my action figures from their prisons. I have finally decided to creates some dioramas and now I need my figures to take their places!

 This is a good looking figure with seven points of articulation! BoShek holds the weapon well. His rights hand looks like he's ready to get a drink at the Cantina! Yeah!

 I like that the weapon can be placed in the holster on the leg. Very cool!

 Helmet fits very well.

The Power of the Force 2 Greedo

Alright! Another figure from the POTF2 era!   It's Greedo with a little bit more detail than the original vintage version. Unfortunately it also looks like he has been working out cause look at those legs!!! Dayem!!!! The arms looks pretty good too!! Of course this was the beginning of the POTF2 line where the figures had to compete with He Man, so to do that Hasbro had the brilliant idea to make the Star Wars figures all buff also. LOL!!!!

We laugh now, but back in the 90's when these came out I was snatching them up! I was voracious!! The buffness didn't phase me! Actually, I don't think I noticed. I was happy that new Star Wars figures were in the stores and I could get them easily since I was earning my own money! Yeah!!!!

The Power of the Force 2 Ponda Baba

 When the POTF2 line came out in the 90's, I went totally crazy!! I was like "Wow! New Star Wars figures!! I want them allllllll!!!!!"  I was at an age that I didn't play with them so they were never opened. I didn't even have space to display, so most of these POTF2 figures ended up in totes for many, many years.

 Now that I have a place to display them all, I am currently making decisions as to which ones will be displayed on card and which will be displayed loose. Well, I came across the Cantina Showdown set and decided to use the Ponda Baba in that one for my Cantina display. This Ponda will stay forever on card, and that is okay.

 Very cool set of figures I got for only $5!!!! Granted I already have a version of Ponda and Ben, but these guys are in action poses!!! Hell yeah!!!

 I also get Dr. Evazan which never had before!! So awesome!!!

I was able to put all of these figures in my Cantina playset. Because of the way Ponda and Evezan are standing they were able to sit just fine in the Cantina. Sweet!!!!!

Star Wars Takara Tomy Millennium Falcon

 Here is another item I got while in Japan. I was totally looking for collectibles that could only be found in Japan.

 While this is only available in Japan I can not help but think this is a lot like the Hot Wheels Starships collection. Kind of a bummer.

 What makes this one slightly different than the toy from Hot Wheels is that this is on a base with wheels!!! So cool!!!!

I am hoping to visit Japan again and when I do, there will be more Star Wars items added to my collection!!!

Star Wars Takara Tomy Han Solo Figure

 So, I tried to find bootleg action figures while in Japan with no luck. I had asked many people but no one could tell me where to buy them. I decided to buy Star Wars collectibles that were exclusive to Japan. This Takara Tomy Han Solo figure is one such collectible that can only be found in Japan.

 This Han Solo figure is totally die cast metal. Very different from the plastic figures sold in the U. S. Also the legs are not articulated. The only parts articulated are the arms and the waist.

 He has a cool looking blaster that is removable too! Yay!!!

 I have no idea what any of the Japanese print says, unfortunately:-( I would really like to know. Now I am wishing I had gotten more of these figures. They are available on ebay but the shipping is pretty high.

I love adding this to my Star Wars collection.
