This figure came out in 2003 and I completely ignored it. At that time I was only interested in collecting figures of different characters that had not been made before. I was not interested in collecting variations on the same figure again and again.
Well, that all changed when I backed the Barge! After that, I had to get as many figures related to the barge as possible. The R2-D2 as Jabba's bartender was definitely one of them. I had to go on ebay of course because how else would I be able to get it?? Anyway, I was able to buy it at a reasonable price before the sellers began jacking up the price to take advantage of all the Barge backers.
It is a pretty cool figure with the nifty bar attachment. I know a better looking one exists but I didn't want to pay the high cost for that. This one is good enough. Now R2 has a home on Jabba's Barge serving beverages!

The Power of the Force Luke Skywalker (Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit) Figure
So the story goes that Kenner started loosing money on the Star Wars collections. They start the new Power of the Force line to get people interested in collecting again. Unfortunately that did not work and they stopped making Star Wars toys after this.
Fortunately for us collectors Kenner managed to finally make a Luke in Stormtrooper outfit!! It's a really good looking figure. Lukes body is very similar to the original Stormtrooper design, even though he has a wider stance. Luke's head does not turn, which is very odd for Kenner to do. The helmet goes on very well but it has to be turned a bit or Luke's nose gets scratched.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get Luke to hold the blaster well. It kept falling. Argh!!! Still a very nice figure, and one we wanted and needed even during the original run of the Star Wars figures.
The one really cool aspect of this line is the inclusion of the metal coin. Looks greta on display next to the figure.
It would have been awesome if Kenner had made the Han Solo figure in stormtrooper outfit also. Oh well.

Power of the Force 2 Jawa Figures
Since the vintage Jawas are so expensive and hard to get, I decided to fill the Jawa playsets with these figures. They are fine. I really like how the light entering the head will make the eyes glow. Very clever design.
Since I have Jabba's Barge, I needed to populate it with some Jawas.
These will do just fine, even thought the the way Hasbro molded the legs together is kind of a drag but also cool because while on display they look great.
I ruined the foil sticker when taking out the figures. C'est la vie!

Power of the Force 2 Pote Snitkin Figure
I found this figure at Book Off for a very low price! I was so excited because this is character from ROTJ that is involved with Jabba's Barge. Since I got the barge, I am able to put this figure on the it. So cool!!!
Pote comes with a force pike and blaster pistol. The garment that he wears is removable. His arms move much better without the garment.
One of these days I will get the really cool macro binocular viewer for these slides. The only problem is the price for it on ebay is rather high.

The Star Wars Trilogy: The Widescreen Edition VHS Box Set
These beautiful VHS cassettes contain the original versions of the movies before the special editions changed them up. I still have a vcr and could watch these any time I want. It's not really necessary because I have the Adywan's versions of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back and those are amazing. I am waiting with bated breath for him to finish Return of the Jedi and I know it will be awesome!!!
The back of the cassette covers are a very nice collection of scenes.

Star Wars Trilogy CD-ROM
The sad thing is, I don't remember if this was ever used. I have absolutely no recollection of what this looks like on a computer. Sadness! After reading the description on the back of the box, this seems like it would have been really cool, and fun.
I am currently using a computer that does not have a disc drive. I wonder if it would still work with the new operating systems??

Force Link Han Solo and Boba Fett Pack
I have the vintage Fett and the one from the 90's. Then for many, many years I did not get another one, until getting this pack. Also, I did not pay for this since I got it through Kmart points. So cool!!!
Took me a while to get this open because I like to unbox for my Star Wars Obsessed Youtube channel. Yes that was a plug! Ha!
Most of the time the accessories for these figures a pretty lame, but I really like the flame thrower for Fett. The flame pieces look great!
The likeness to Harrison Ford for this figure is really good. The only part that kind of ruins it are the eye paints. A bit sloppy.
I like that Han's blaster can be placed into the holster.
Oh no! Looks like Boba Fett is ready to take Han again!!!
Oh! Maybe they are, like, best friends now. Hey, it could happen!

Star Wars Sticker Album
This is and item that was sold at the 99 cents stores. It's amazing how many things were made for The Force Awakens that seem to have been made to only be sold at the 99 cents stores. This sticker book is one of them. It's a blank book and there are stickers to put in them.
I really like the art on the front and back of this book. Good simple stuff.

Splinter of the Mind's Eye Novel
This is a reprint of the classic story that was supposed to be the sequel to Star Wars. Fascinating! I have yet to read this. I have a problem reading novels, in that I seem to fall asleep. I think it happened because of college. I had to read a lot of material and most of it was very dull. It would make me sleepy. Now when I try to read, I either start thinking about other things or begin to fall asleep. Oh well.

From Concept, To Screen, To Collectible by Steve Sansweet
I got this book upon it's original release in 1992. I devoured it. I had a graveyard shift job and not much happened, so I was able to just sit and read this wonderful book.
I love collecting Star Wars and Steve Sansweet knows what a collector wants to know.
