The Star Wars Trilogy on VHS

The original movies on VHS! These are not the special editions. These are the real deals.  I haven't seen these versions in many, many years. I don't remember if they are letter boxed. Love that poster art!

These have been in my collection since their original release. So happy to have them:-)

Star Wars Micro Collection Death Star World Playsets

I was able to get this set back in the 80's when the prices were very low. I basically was able to take advantage of the disinterest in the Micro Collection line and get a set for myself.

The first set is Death Star Escape. The Death Star Escape combines several scenes from the Death Star, including the chasm, hallways, the tractor bean console, and one of the large cannons aboard the battle station.

It includes six figures: Darth Vader, two Stormtroopers, a firing Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and Luke in his Tatooine outfit.
The upper level has an SB-920 Laser Cannon that can pop-up when a button is pushed. A little bit aways is the console that Ben used to shut down one of the tractor beams. One of the bridges of the main set is retractable, and there is a small plastic "rope."

The side of the main set offers two possibilities to connect a smaller elevator/shaft tower. There is a working elevator in the shaft.

The large set is called the Death Star Compactor.  The control room leads into the narrow corridor with cell 2187. The figures will be able to fall from the corridor into the trash compactor. The compactor comes with small pieces or orange foam and the walls can close when pushed. At the last moment the door will spring open.

On the left is the turbo lift that will lead to Detention Block AA-23.  Another feature is the spring-loaded blastdoor.

This large set comes with Han Stormtrooper, Luke Stormtrooper, three Stormtroopers, Princess Leia, a dueling Vader, and a dueling Obi-Wan.

The Saga Collection Commemorative Tin Collection: Star Wars

This really cool tin set came out in 2006. This is the only set I got.
The art on the box is classic Star Wars.
The action figures a very nicely detailed.
The back gives the set a very classy look.
It's all quite fantastic.

Power of the Jedi Ketwol Figure

I got this figure at Book Off on September 19, 2018.I know it's a character created for the Special Edition, but it's still a figure of a character I don't have.

Interesting how this character stands on stilts.
This little character stats book is pretty cool. Lot's of background information about a character only seen for a few seconds.

The Power of the Force 2 Captain Piett Figure

I got this figure in September 2018. I had to get it because this is the first time Captain Piett was created. I definitely wanted to add him to my collection.

Funny thing is I don't remember him using a baton in the movie😏

Captain Piett came with a baton, not a rifle, as indicated on the sticker. LOL!!!

The Original Trilogy Collection Scout Trooper (Endor Raid)

This figure came out in 2004.
Weapons and Accessories:
  • Blaster
  • Base

I think this series of figures is really cool because they included the stand. Talk about makin' it easier to pose the figures. Yeah!
This is a really cool design. The holster is on the boot! Neat!

  • This figure was originally available in 2000's Power of the Jedi line.
  • Also included with this figure is a folding pamphlet that shows other toys in the Original Trilogy Collection.

Star Wars: The Maverick Moon book

This book came out in 1979. This has been in my collection since that time. I do not know what the story is about. Here is a synopsis found online:

Luke Skywalker and his crew of Planetary Pioneers attempt to destroy a moon which has been blasted out of its orbit and threatens to collide with their planet.

    Sounds exciting!!

Oh my goodness, the art is interesting. LOL! Poor Luke.

    Leia doesn't look too bad.
