30th Anniversary Collection Romba & Graak

This set of figures came out in 2007. I haven't opened it, and I don't know why. I could put the figures in my Ewok Village set. I should totally do it!!!
On the back:
When the Ewoks mistake C-3PO for a god, Han Leia, and Chewie use this misunderstanding to get past the Ewok's initial distrust of them. The Ewoks eventually welcome the Rebels into their tribe and help them destroy the shield generatior protecting the Death Star.
Also included with this figure is a folding pamphlet that shows other toys in The 30th Anniversary Collection.

The Legacy Collection Luke Skywalker (SDCC Exclusive)

This figure came out in 2009 and was only available at San Diego Comicon. A friend of mine went and asked me if I wanted anything and I told him to get me an exclusive figure. So he did:-)
On the back:
Luke Skywalker always dreamed of becoming an Imperial pilot, but he never imagined that he would one day sit in the cockpit of an X-Wing and battle the Galactic Empire. Luke becomes a hero when he fires the shot that destroys the Death Star battle station.

30th Anniversary Collection Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) Figure

This figure came out in 2007. I totally had to get this figure, because, well Luke's dressed in the Yavin ceremony outfit!!! Hello! Must have!!!
On the back:
Young and impulsive, Luke was already a phenomenal pilot when he arrived at the Rebel base on Yavin, having developed his skills hot-dogging his T-16 through Beggar's Canyon. Even so, without trusting in the Force, he might never have landed the proton torpedoes that destroyed the Death Star.
Also included with this figure is a folding pamphlet that shows other toys in The 30th Anniversary Collection.

The Legacy Collection Han Solo (sandstorm)

This figure came out in 2008. Just like the Luke figure, I had to have this because it is a variation not made previously.
On the back:
With the help of his friends, Han has freed himself from Jabba the Hutt and a grisly death in the Sarlacc Pit. As he and his companions walk through the desert to the Millennium Falcon, they must fight their way through a fierce Tatooine sandstorm.
This figure contains an extra "Droid Factory" piece to Build-A-Droid. This figure includes R4-D6's left leg.

The Legacy Collection Luke Skywalker (Sandstorm)

I had to get this figure because it is a version of Luke never produced before. This figure came out in 2008.
On the back:

Luke's strength with the Force has helped him save the lives of his friends from Jabba the Hutt and avoid a gruesome death in the Sarlacc pit. Wrapped in a scarf to protect him from the blowing sand, he struggles through a Tatooine sandstorm with his friends to reach the waiting Millennium Falcon.

30th Anniversary Collection Biggs Darlighter Action Figure

This figure is part of the 30th Anniversary collection, that came out in 2007. The addition of the cloth cape is a nice touch.
Some information about Biggs found on the internet:
He is the son of a wealthy food magnate from the planet Tatooine. He is the close friend and speeder-racing companion of Luke Skywalker. Biggs gives up a promising career in the military to join the Rebel Alliance. Biggs and Luke aspire to enter the Imperial Space Academy together, but only Biggs realizes his dream. At the academy, Biggs discovers the cruelty and oppression of the Empire and decides to join the Rebellion, confiding his secret to Luke during a trip home.
This Biggs Darklighter figure is based on the character's appearance in a deleted scene from the beginning of A New Hope.

Star Wars Paper Products

The following images are from the cereal called C-3PO's. I remember totally loving the cereal. It was totally yummy!!! I apparently got four boxes because of the four different masks cut out from the boxes.
The top image is from the front of the cereal box. I don't know why I cut it out. I have lots of things that I collected from Star Wars and those are barely touched. The cereal box did not survive unfortunately.

The following images are from Topps photo cards. Arriving in 1980, each pack included only one card. These cards were much larger than the collector's cards. Each card only cost 20 cents.  There were 30 photocards in all, drawing exlusively from The Empire Strikes Back.

I really don't remember what happened to the following card. OMGs!!!! I get that it would have tape because I put it up on the wall. The back side of the card with all the white out and writing is crazy!!! Did my little sister get to it???? I DON'T KNOW!!!!!

Star Wars Fan Club Portfolio: Movie Cards

This time from the portfolio I would like to showcase the movie cards that came with subscription or renewal.

The first card is a still from Star Wars.  This one I have framed which is why it's cropped rather funny.
The next card is from The Empire Strikes Back. Honestly, I don't remember if acquired these all together or in separate renewals.
The next two cards are from Return of the Jedi. The one with R2 and 3PO has the notation that it's from the Fan Club.

The Luke and Leia card is another one I have framed.
The final one is not a movie card but a lenticular postcard. When the card is moved the image shows Luke and Vader fighting. Very cool!

Star Wars Fan Club Portfolio: The Empire Strikes Back Poster Album

This is another item found inside the portfolio. The poster album was not included in the fan club renewal or subscription.
The poster album was available for purchase through the fan club.
It seems that this poster album was only available through the fan club. That is really cool!!!
The pictures are great! I really like the promotional photos taken back in the day.
On the back side includes the biographies of the actors.
As can be seen in the photos, I put this on my wall. The tape really gives it away.

This time in the portfolio I am showcasing the random letters I got from the fan club.
First is the letter I got for joining the fan club.
The next letter is two letters for the renewal.

The next letter is a reminder to renew.
The envelope the reminder letter came in.

The items list.
A postcard that would come in the mail.

Star Wars Fan Club Portfolio: The Catalogs

This time from the portfolio, I would like to showcase the catalogs from the fan club.
Every time I looked at the catalogs, it pained me that I could not buy everything. I really wanted that Luke Skywalker jacket. It looked so cool!!!!
I was able to get some of the patches, and also the poster book.
There was a lot to choose from and I wanted them all!!!!! LOL!!!
Today these prices seem like nothing, but back in the 80's when you only have an allowance, those prices were astronomical!
I would also have like that Han Solo vest. Very cool!!!!
I was also able to get the back issues of Bantha Tracks because I had missed out on all of the Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back issues.

Star Wars Fan Club Portfolio: Character Photos

This time in the Portfolio, I would like to showcase the character photos that came with one of the fan club renewals.
 Luke Skywalker:
Princess Leia:
Leia's picture may look a bit faded because it may have had a lot of sun exposure. I used to have these taped to my bedroom wall back in 1983 to 1986.
Han Solo:
Lando Calrissian:
Wicket W. Warrick:
I am sure one of the next pictures came with the renewal package, but I don't remember which one.
Here is evidence that I put these up on the wall. The old tape totally discoloured. I hope it does not eventually destroy the picture.

George Lucas (not a character but was included in the package):
