Vintage Imperial Tie Fighter Vehicle 2

This second Tie Fighter was given to me back in 1988 when the brother of my friend decided he did not want his Star Wars collection anymore. Yeah! Crazy is right!!! LOL!!! I learned later that the brother actually wanted something in return. He wanted to trade an issue of Batman where the Joker kills Robin. For some reason the brother thought I had it, but I did not. I offered to return the collection but he refused. Anyway it is not in as good of a condition as my original Tie. It is dirtier, the front glass is yellow, and the panel stickers are peeling off, and a bit scratched up. Still, the Tie is a welcome addition to my collection. Actually, I welcome any vintage Star Wars toys to my collection, even if it is a beater.

Vintage Y-Wing Fighter Vehicle

The vintage Y-Wing Fighter is another Star Wars toy I never had when I was a kid. There was way too much Star Wars to collect and so little money, especially when you are a little kid. Sigh!   Many years later, I happen to befriend a person who really loves Star Wars. He also had a massive collection. Eventually, he just got tired of having his collection clutter is place so he decided to sell all of it!! I would never do that!!! Since he knows that I am a major collector, he gave me first pick of the items to buy. Of course, when I saw the Y-Wing, I snatched it up. My friend was really cool, because at the time I didn't have a lot of money and he was willing to hold all of the items I wanted to buy. Such a cool guy. The vehicle is complete and works!! I also have the box. Yeah!!!

Vintage Imperial Tie Fighter Vehicle

This is the Tie Fighter I got way back in 1979 for Christmas. I was very excited and so happy to get it. There was only one problem and that was, I only got enough sticker sheets to complete one wing.  I was, of course, quite bummed about that. I decided to only put the stickers on one side of each wing so there was some uniformity. I remember my stepfather being kind of a jerk about it though. He didn't understand what I was doing, and would shake his head, looking at me like I'm an idiot. Fortunately, Kenner was an amazing company and gave us kids a way to ensure our happiness. Kenner had the "We Truly Care" slogan. If any toy was broken or missing something, they would replace it without charge. So awesome!!! I went ahead and sent the form informing them that the stickers were missing. A few weeks later I got a set of stickers for my Tie Fighter. I happily put on the stickers and my Tie Fighter has been complete ever since. Yeah!

The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi Candy

Way back in the 80's I collected anything from Star Wars that I could get my little hands on. In the convenience stores I noticed this Star Wars candy. I was excited about them and purchased some. With some of them I ate the candy but with others I left the candy inside. In my adult years, I happened to see the candy display box on ebay and decide to purchase it, that way I was able to display the dandy dispensers properly.

At the time I purchased the cany it was just when The Empire Strikes Back opened in theaters, so most of my candy dispensers are from that movie.

I still have the candy inside but definitely will not dare to eat them. LOL!

The Ewok came with the display box. Unfortunately this is only candy dispenser I have from Return of the Jedi.

Death Star Battle Atari Game

Here is another Star Wars Atari game I got back in the 80's. I had a lot of fun playing the game back in the day. I love the cover art. Now, it is only in my collection on display since I no longer have an Atari 2600.

The Empire Strikes Back Atari Game

I got this back in the 80's and was able to play the game. At the time it was fun. I have a feeling I wouldn't like it as much now with all the advancements in video game technology. Lots of good memories playing this game.

Vintage 1983 Star Wars "Return of the Jedi" Burger King Glass

Here is the only Star Wars glass I ever got when I was  a kid. I don't have any more information about this glass, only that it has been in my collection since 1983.
