POTF2 Kabe and Muftak Figures

This figure two pack came out in 1998. Seems this is another Fan Club exclusive.

Star Wars Saga General Jan Dodonna Figure

I got this figure at Book Off in 2018 which originally came out in 2004! There was a crazy amount of these Star Wars Saga figures and I bought  several figures that were not represented in the 80's.

On the back:
General Jan Dodonna was the wizened tactician and strategist of the Rebel base at the Massassi site on Yavin 4. When the Death Star arrived in the Yavin system, Dodonna formulated the Rebels' crucial attack run of the Battle of Yavin and briefed the Rebel pilots as to its logistics. His solid tactics led to a victory when the Rebels destroyed the Death Star.

R2-D2 Telephone

I got this phone in 1997 and I used it a lot. I loved this phone. I really enjoyed the R2-D2 sounds when someone would call. R2's head would also move. It is a really cool phone to have.
Unfortunately, I no longer use the phone since I don't have a landline and only use a cell phone. Still, very nice to have in my collection.

Darth Vader Speakerphone

I have no recollection how I got this. The only thing I know about this is that it was in stores in 1983.  When I got it in the late 80's, I didn't really use it. The only time I used it was when I helped my mom do her taxes. Back in the 80's we could do our simple taxes over the phone and I wanted to show my other how easy it was to do. So I used the speakerphone to let her listen in as we did her taxes. She was very grumpy about it though because she doesn't like new technology. LOL!!!

Star Wars Soundtrack 8-Track Tape

The 8-track tape is a magnetic tape sound-recording. It was a technology that was popular in the United States from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s, when the compact cassette  format took over. I was young enough to see these in cars and home consoles. My parents had a home console 8-track tape player. It was annoying because there was no skip so going to a favorite song was not possible.

I have not actually listened to this since it was given to me in 2017 and I don't currently own an 8-track tape player.

I keep it in my collection because...STAR WARS!!!!!!!

Star Wars Attactix Figures

The Attacktix Battle Figure Game was a collectible action figure game produced by Hasbro released 2005 through 2006 and featuring characters from the Star Wars franchise. Many of the action figures are sold in starter sets in quantities of five or in quantities of three in a booster pack.

I thought these were pretty cool at the time I got them.  I decided that collecting a different type of action figure wasn't for me so I didn't get any more.

POTF Purchase of the Droids & Aunt Beru

This three pack of figures called Purchase of the Droids came out in 1997. It is the first time Uncle Owen had been made as a figure, so I had to get it. I like how C-3PO is made to look dirty and Luke is a better sculpt than the previous buff version.

On the back:
Under attack by an Imperial Star Destroyer, protocol droid C-3PO and his partner R2-D2 safely escaped a battered Rebel capital ship and landed on the desert planet of Tatooine. Soon after, the droids were abducted by scavenging Jawas and sold to Owen Lars for use on his desert moisture farm. Luke Skywalker, nephew of Owen and a Tatooine youth, remained unaware that his uncle's purchase of C-3PO and R2-D2 was to help launch one of the most pivotal destinies the galaxy had ever known...his own.

This figure came out in 1999, but I did not buy it at the time. I may not have been paying attention to it. I decided to get this figure some time in 2010 on ebay. It's funny that Aunt Beru comes with blue milk! LOL!!!  The Service Droid is officially known as a WED-15-77 Treadwell droid.
On the back of the card:
Beru Lars was the closest thing to a mother that Luke Skywalker ever knew. She and husband Owen lovingly raised Luke as their nephew, and trained him in the mundane ways of moisture farming on their arid Tatooine homestead.. All along, Aunt Beru understood that a larger destiny awaited Luke.

I got this in 1998 at Toys R Us. Apparently, and I didn't know this at the time, this was only sold at TRU. The unique blaster in this set is the only version with a silver barrel.

On the back:
The Star Wars Mint is officially re-instituted with this limited edition series! New gold-colored coins feature character images from the classic silver-colored coin release-all with brand newreverse-side stampings specially designed for this exclusive commemorative offering.

Star Wars Saga Dutch Vander: Gold Leader Figure

This figure came out in 2003. I like collecting action figures and my goal was to collect figures that were never made during the Kenner period. For some reason in the early 2000's I stopped doing that so I missed out on a lot of different figures. Dutch Vander is an example of one I missed. Fortunately I happen to find this at Book Off! Yay!!!

On the back:
Gold Leader was the comm unit designation for Rebel pilot John Vander's Y-Wing during the attack on the first Death Star. He previously had led a squadron ar Renforra base, and he proudly wore the emblem of Specter Squadron on his helmet. He was killed during the Battle of Yavin.
