Emperor's Royal Guard Collectable Eraser

This is not the eraser I had when I was a kid. I got this eraser off of Ebay. Unfortunately, my original eraser had been lost. It had been with me for many years, and I don't remember if I had actually used it. I do remember that the eraser was still in very good condition. Since my original eraser had been lost I decided to replace it. Fortunately, I found it on Ebay in original packaging. Sweet!

Vintage Princess Leia Organa Large Size Action Figure

The Vintage Large Size Leia figure is a recent addition to my collection. I got this figure a few years before the passing of Carrie Fisher. Because of that, I didn't deal with those lame-os ridiculously upping the price. Way back in the late 70's early 80's I had friend who owned a Large Size Leia figure. We were very good friends at the time. I moved away but lived close. A few years had passed and I decided go pay her a visit and ask her if she would sell her Leia figure to me. I go to her place and we sit and chat. I finally get to asking her to sell it to me but unfortunately her stepfather wouldn't be happy about that. She had a falling out with her stepdad and had run away. The day I visited, my friend just happened to be visiting her mother. They told me that if the Leia doll was missing then he would know she was there and would be very pissed. Not necessarily true, since the mother could have just sold it to me, but whatever.  I eventually purchased my own figure and am happy for it.

A great thing about this figure is that it got girls to be interested in collecting Star Wars. Girls were able to change Leia's hairstyle, and brush and comb her hair with these really cute accessories.

Here is the back side of the box showing the different hairstyle possibilities!!! Yeah!!!!

Vintage Star Wars Landspeeder

This landspeeder has been in my collection since the 80's. I did not get the first iteration of the vehicle that was released in the 70's. Instead I got the rereleased version from the Collector Series. Unfortunately I do not have the box anymore. At some point in my collecting I had decided to trash some of the boxes because I was trying to make more space in the storage boxes that housed my collection. Of course, now I totally regret doing that. Ugh!

Chewbacca's Activity Book

Chewbacca's Activity Book  was released in 1979 and has been in my collection since then. I looked at the book and all of the activities in it but never wrote in it. Once again this is an example of me being a collector and not wanting to ruin it even though with some of my other collection pieces, I played the heck out of them.
Here is an example of what the activities are like. There is also a page with a recipe for baking cookies. I didn't even bake the cookies. Oh, well. I suppose that is something I could do now. Hmmm.

B'omarr Monk

I got the B'omarr Monk figure from a friend who was selling off his collection.  It became available in 1997,  and since it is a character briefly seen in Return of the Jedi I had to buy it. It's very cool looking. According to information found on the internet, the spider part is a droid transport and is guided by the brain of a once-humanoid B'omarr Monk.

The Ultimate Action Figure Collection

When I saw this book for sale I had to get it. I had to get it because it is created by Stephen Sansweet. He has the largest Star Wars collection and he worked for Lucas Film. I thought this would be a great book. I got it and was slightly disappointed mainly because there really isn't much information about the action figures themselves. The photos are great but I wanted history, variations, etc., about each figure.

Vintage Blue Snaggletooth

Blue Snaggletooth had eluded me for many years. When I was a child, I never new the figure existed. Actually, I remember seeing the figure in those Kenner toy booklets that would show all of the Star Wars toys available. For some reason, I never gave it a second thought since I did not see it in stores. In 1987 I went to the Starlog Salutes Star Wars convention, and saw the Blue Snaggletooth in the market place. The guy selling it wanted $20! I thought, "Yeah, right $20 for an action figure!" I moved on and never thought about the figure for many years. I decided to add more to my vintage collection and saw BS on Ebay. The price was really high and I really could not afford to spend about $200 for this figure. Then, I saw BS in a lot of figures with weapons for a price I could not pass. Now, Blue Snaggletooth is proudly a part of my collection.
