These figures came out in 1993 before the new Hasbro figures. So these figures were available during the dark times of collecting. I saw them and didn't really care to collect them. They are not very good looking. When the new Star Figures came out in 1995, the demand for Bend-Ems plummeted. When I saw these on sale for the really cheap price of 3 for $5.00, well I was more than willing to get some. Unfortunately, Luke and R2 were the only ones in the store at the time. I have another R2, but it seems to have been misplaced. I keep these as a reminder of the dark times.
