It's the TaunTaun! A replica of the creature that Han and Luke ride during their mission across the Hoth ice-scape. There's a trap door in the TaunTaun's back to fit action figures. The saddles are designed to make it look like the figures are straddling the TaunTaun. The hind legs and paws are moveable. This figure came out in 1980.
A second version of the TaunTaun is the open belly, but I never got that one. One day I will!!!
