The Power of the Jedi R3-T7 Figure

So apparently R3-T7 can been seen waaaaay in the background in the scene where Ben and Anakin deal with that bounty hunter Zam. Blink and you will miss this droid! LOL!!!!

Droids are way cool though!!! Can't have too many!

Power of the Jedi K-3PO Figure

K-3PO is a figure never made during the Kenner era. It's a really cool looking droid, and I like to have a lot of different droids in my collection. There is something about the droids that I really like.  Maybe it's because they are something we don't have in our world.

The Star Wars universe droids have some great designs. Stan Solo has a version of this droid in the old Kenner style. I'm looking into getting it. The vintage style K-3PO would look awesome in my displays.

Star Wars Collection Major Bren Derlin Figure

Major Bren Derlin is a very cool figure to add to my Hoth display.  It is very well articulated. The figure

is also well detailed.

It was really cool that back in the day, Hasbro would add a display stand and maybe another accessory. In this case they included a small figurine. That's okay, and definitely better than what we get with The Vintage Collection.

The Power of the Force 2 Garindan (Long Snoot) Figure

Not much about this figure. It's okay. Not much articulation, or detail. I do like that at this time Hasbro decided to expand the line of characters beyond the originals made in the 80's.

The Power of the Jedi Zutton (Snaggletooth) Figure

This Zutton figure is pretty cool because it includes a drinking glass accessory! Why is that important? Well, it adds an extra bit of fun to the Cantina display. Now, actual glasses sit on the bar, or in the hands of a patron. Awesome!
Zutton is different enough from the vintage Snaggletooth that it's like a different character added to the Cantina display! Excellent!

The Power of the Force 2 Gunner Station Millennium Falcon with Luke Skywalker

The Gunner Station is something I got fairly recently. I found it at Book Off. It was a low price so I decided to get it based on that. Not because I had any nostalgia for the Gunner Station. I do remember seeing it in stores but passing it because I decided Hasbro was milking the Star Wars teat for all they can. Also, back in the day I didn't have a lot of money, so I had to be very selective. I missed out on a lot of cool Star Wars collectibles back then.
Now that I am rolling in the dough baby, I can buy all the Star Wars I want!!! Yeah!!!!
Just kidding. I am doing well financially, so my Star Wars purchases can be more frequent and I can go back and get things like this Gunner Station. Was is a good purchase? Eh! It's alright. The figure is definitely a better sculpt than the first from Hasbro. The Gunner Station shoots torpedos, so that is pretty cool! Especially if you are a kid and want to play with your toy for hours, and hours!
But, I am not a child and do not wish to play with this for hours on end! I want to put this on display and have it look cool with my other Star Wars collections, have it blend in as part of the action, or environment.

So, how did I do? Does it blend in?

The Power of the Force 2 Electronic Power F/X R2-D2

I've had this little droid in my collection since 1996. I kept it in the bubble for years! Recently I have decided to just open all of my figures. Rip them away from the card! Out of the bubble! Out! I say!!!
It has been very satisfying! I'm not a child who want's to play with my toys but I really want to be able to experience them. How they feel, smell, function, and in this case sound. Would the Electronic Power F/X R2-D2 still work after all these years? The answer is...yes!!! Amazingly enough the batteries are still charged! Quality control indeed! The sound of R2 is very primitive compared to what we get these days, but I'm still impressed that it makes sound. It lights up too! Awesome!!!

There's this wand with a magnet at the tip. It's a way to move R2 on the stage. Ooo! R2 moves like magic! Ahhh! Not really! This is the part of the toy that does not function very well. LOL!!! The wand keeps detaching from R2. Lame!
R2-D2 looks great on display!

The Power of the Force 2 Deluxe Boba Fett

Ah! The 90's. When everything was EXTREME!!! Toys had to be buff and hard core!! LOL!!!

This is a perfect example of Hasbro being over the top with Star Wars.

Making accessories to figures to get them JACKED!!!

Boba Fett Gonna F*ck you up!!!!

I was collecting anything related to Star Wars! Decided to open this and check it out!

 Oh yeah!!! EXTREME!!!!!!

The Power of the Force 2 Deluxe Probe Droid

I kept this Deluxe Probe Droid on card since the 90's. At that time I wasn't opening my collection. Why? I think that maybe one day I would have sold off my collection and was hoping for lots of money coming in. Cha Ching! I have decide that my collection will not be sold. It will stay with me until I die. That being said, most of my collection is now being opened and displayed. This Probe Droid is a perfect example.

It's pretty cool, cause it has a cannon in the middle.

It shoots a torpedo!

The top of the droid also pops off!!! This is the only Probe Droid to do that! So cool!!!!

Deluxe Probe Droid on display!!! Yeah!!

The Power of the Force 2 Bossk Figure

The detail on this Bossk figure is fantastic!
Bossk is seen on Jabba's Sail Barge in Return of the Jedi, so that is where he goes in my collection! Time to party!!!!!

The Power of the Force 2 Dengar Figure

This Dengar figure has much more detail than the vintage version. It also does not have that backpack either!
Since Dengar is seen in Jabba's palace in Return of the Jedi, that is where this figure goes!!

Star Wars Thirtieth Anniversary Death Star Trooper Figure

This was my attempt to continue to collect figures that were not created during the Vintage Kenner era! This version of the Death Star Trooper came out in 2007. Very nice figure with multiple points of articulation, which I admit is great for different types of posing.
Species: Human, born on various planets in the galaxy
Status: Elite soldiers serving aboard the Empire's battle station
Weapon of Choice: Blaster pistol
Characteristics: These elite soldiers also serve aboard the many vessels in the Imperial starfleet
Comments: Wearing black uniforms and distinctive helmets, Death Star troopers are chosen from the ranks of the Imperial Navy Troopers to defend key installations. When not in combat, these well-trained soldiers and guards provide security, handle hangar traffic control, and monitor sensor arrays.

There is the Death Star Trooper way back there hard at work in the Death Star Playset.
